Dutch pianist and composer Ron Adelaar invites us to take a moment for ourselves with his new album "Reflections" - Available now on all streaming platforms.

The album "Reflections" has 10 pieces of meditative, contemplative songs. In these songs Adelaar expresses his gratitude for the special moments in his life and the wonders of our planet and universe.
"How wonderful it is to feel the love for family and friends, to enjoy the beauty and wonders of nature on earth or just looking up to the stars at night. For many years I worked as an HR professional. A busy job with a full agenda and a lot of traveling. It was great to meet and help so many people, to serve the organizations I worked for. And between all that hard work I always tried to find rest and peace at home with my family, reading books, studying and developing myself, enjoying nature and most of all in playing and composing music."
Two years ago, Ron Adelaar quit his job to focus on his music full time.
"I’m fully dedicated to my music as a composer and pianist now. It’s a new period in my life. But in a slower tempo. There’s time to make long walks for introspection, looking back at the highs and lows I encountered in the last 60 years in my life. And of course, I’m blessed to be able to live fully now, giving attention to the people and things in life that are really important."

Bio
Ron Adelaar (1960) is a Dutch-based pianist and composer of neoclassical, meditative piano compositions. Ron had an early introduction to piano music, as he started his career at the age of 13 by playing the organ and piano at several churches in his hometown Amersfoort (The Netherlands), all together with his father Ton Adelaar who played the flute. For the last 40 years, Ron has been the pianist and conductor of a choir in his hometown.
His passion has always been to create his own contemporary compositions and share it with others. Because of the technical possibilities nowadays, he’s able to share his own piano compositions since July 2018. His works are all recorded in his home studio, on a beautiful Grotrian Steinweg piano (1929).
His neoclassical piano compositions are melodic and soothing. They contribute to relax, meditate or to maintain concentration and focus during work.
Ron is also the A&R of piano record label Andante Piano (Amsterdam). Andante Piano is a sublabel of Disruptive Records B.V. and was founded in 2020 by his son Ivo Adelaar. Besides his own music, Andante Piano releases neoclassical piano music of many international piano players.
