Publishing music on Spotify

Hello everyone, I'm posting a new post because this site gives really good suggestions, especially to those like me who are just starting out.
I would like to ask you for suggestions on publishing on Spotify, I have seen that many of you have your own Spotify account and I really need some help, any suggestions I need.
I would like to know with which distributor you publish on Spotify, I'm using Distrokid but I don't know if I did it right.
So, any suggestion would be helpful
I would also like to ask if there are any Italian musicians here who know the situation in this country.

I’m upset that DistroKid won’t let me downgrade my plan type. Does anyone know if there’s a way to downgrade to the cheapest plan? Otherwise, it seems like I’ll just have to keep paying this greater amount to keep my tracks online. Not good.

It’s really terrible! Thanks for looking that up though. I want to just stick to CD Baby then. But under DistroKid, I have one track with a collaborator and one that’s released under a record label. What happens to those? Just vanishes?

You can either:

Cancel your account and have any distrokid releases taken down from all streaming platforms
Choose the 'Leave A Legacy' extras for each release which will keep them in all streaming platforms even after cancelling your account.
Just continue paying the annual fee on Distrokid even if you're not using it.

I personally use Distrokid for a couple of different projects (a neo-classical project and a pop project) and I'm generally happy with them, but I've noticed that my producer credit information NEVER gets populated in Spotify which I find annoying, particularly for my pop project.

I've been using Distrokid since i first started releasing music in May 2020. Never had any issues with them! Very easy to use.

I go with 'New Age' because Distrokid doesn't distribute 'Classical' music to Apple Music for some reason.. my first release ever i chose classical and it's everywhere except apple music.

Ok, that's what I chose also for my latest one. I was wondering if this could influence the pieces availability on Spotify and how the algorithm plays them, and if it would be wiser to choose a distributor which gives the option to choose neo-classical, or piano or something like that.
