Hello guys. I want to start a new project soon where i will release instrumental and lo-fi beats, but i have a doubt. Since i want to create a new account on Spotify and since i cannot claim that account before my music goes live, i don't think i could be able to pitch the first song i will release, or am i wrong? Have any of you who used multiple profiles had this problem? Or somehow you can pitch the first song? Because i'd prefer not to release my song without pitching it.

hi Elia, yes, you can do that, but it's a bit tricky. At least it was for me. You need to ask your distributor for the URL/URI of your upcoming artist as well as the links for your single. (for spotify or more services) With the profile URL you get access/claim on spotify for artists BEFORE existing online and then you can pitch it with your first release. I hope it helps 😊
Yes you can claim access before your release goes live, i've done it. (I use distrokid)
Just make sure that you submit your track via your distributor 3-4 weeks before and you'll be able to pitch in time 1-2 weeks before your release day.
