Has anyone heard about the new app coming soon by Apple Music dedicated exclusively to classical music?
Wondering if anyone has any details about it? Is it going to cover contemporary/modern classical/minimalist piano music too?
Let me know if you heard/read anything!
Thanks for the link Geert. The main points I can see is there will be a lot more detail about composers and their music, more options on searching for music, incorporating various artwork, but only on iPhone not iPad. Nothing about desktop or royalty structure. 5 million pieces, doesn't specify sub genres.

The royalty structure with Primephonic was based on listening time rather than number of tracks played. It will be interesting to see what happens.
It looks like it’s a take over of Primephonic where the listener can search for pieces using a variety of metadata. The royalty structure was slightly different as well.
Not seen any details yet. Obviously have signed up for it as a consumer.
